Champions in the Hubo Scott CT jersey: Stan Dens and Stian Landsberg make an impression
Focus on talent development
At Hubo Scott CT, talent development is key — and that talent is already showing.
We are proud to congratulate Stan Dens, who recently became Belgian champion in the kilometer on the track, and Stian Landsberg, who won the title of provincial champion on the road in South Africa.
Two great achievements that are already coloring the young season.
Stan Dens
Belgian champion kilometer on the track
Stan Dens demonstrated his explosive power during the Belgian Track Championships, where he claimed the title in the kilometer discipline — a grueling individual time trial over 1,000 meters from a standing start. With an impressively fast ride, he left the competition behind and secured the gold medal.
As champion, Stan will now be able to wear the official champion’s jersey in the colors of the Belgian flag during track races in this discipline — a fitting reward for his dedication to track cycling.
“It’s a very special feeling to become Belgian champion in such a pure test of strength,” says Stan. ”I’m looking forward to wearing this jersey and continuing my progress.”
Stian Landsberg
Provincial champion in South Africa
On the other side of the world, Stian Landsberg rode to glory in the South African Provincial Road Championships.
In a tough race with a strong field, Stian positioned himself tactically well, which ultimately earned him the title.
This victory is a nice boost for Stian in the run-up to the European season. It shows that he is in good shape and ready to further develop his role within the team.
“It gives me confidence to return to Europe with this title under my belt. I am looking forward to kicking off the season with Hubo Scott CT,” says Stian.
